Master Bathroom

I had taken great before pictures. I had them transferred of my camera onto our computer right when we moved in. Unfortunately, that computer went kapoot shortly after, so my before pictures are lost in there somewhere. And, it’s not really on the most important level of our need to get done list.
The master bathroom is smaller, but it works perfect for us. I did a rough stain on the little cabinet that used to be a yellowish wood. There was a wooden, bulky vanity, that I removed and hung my grandma’s old mirror in its place. The walls were a darker tan, so I put a good coat of statuesque by Behr on the walls. I still need to paint the doors white, but all in due time.
The cute gray chicken wire door came from my local antique store for $10. The wreath is a $60 wreath from Hobby Lobby that I found brand new for $12 (birthday gift). The rug was a 50 cent steal at a yard sale.

There was a white shelf hanging above the toilet before and a tall brown cabinet to the left of the toilet to hold towels and such. My husband deals with my crazy ideas and always puts them into place perfectly. We built these chunky shelves and used plumbing piping to hang them above the toilet space. The big iron piece on the top shelf was bought at a yard sale for $5. I found my pretty brand new white shower curtain for $1 at a yard sale. the metal trash can came from an old barn sale. I think I spent $3 for it. The cute seagrass basket was a gift from a very dear friend in Charleston.

I love the clean, crisp look of this small room of our home. It was fun to make simple changes to fit our loves and styles.
