Let’s have Coffee!

“A place for everything and everything in its place” is one of those things I kinda have to live by when I have a household of seven. I don’t mind though, because organization was something I loved even as a little girl! I remember begging my momma to let me organize her closet. 😏 I know, crazy child. But, when we moved into this cute little house, I was determined to make the best use of our space. In our old house I had this cute little coffee bar underneath my chicken nester that housed all my coffee items and birthday decorations. It was a favorite little place for me and it was used often with hospitality and relationship building with dear family and friends. My darling husband found the old desk on the side of the road on his way home from work one day. You can read all about our crazy trash pickins here.
My sweet friend from The Frugal Homemaker came and visited me in Charleston and gave me my first Rae Dunn mug. I fell in love with the simplicity and had the desire to one day have a few more so I could have all my mugs out for display and easy for visitors to grab without trying to find them in a cup cupboard.
I (or a friend) found most of the mugs at TjMaxx or Marshalls. My brand new Keurig was found at an antique store several years ago for a super cheap price! The owner had gotten it for Christmas and already had one so she sold it super cheap. The little olive bucket I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $3, and it is perfect for spoons. My sweet husband got me the slate chalkboard for Christmas last year along with a little book that shows different chalk writing styles. The little brown drawer box holds all our kcups and was found for $8 at Target last year on after Christmas clearance. My sweet sister sent me a gift certificate for a nearby amazing antique store. I have been looking at old printer trays and had my eyes peeled for when a booth had a big sale after Christmas.
We hung and stained the shelving similar to the shelves in our master bathroom. I love the simplicity of them. We purchased the hardware off of amazon in bulk since we were doing 5 shelves in our house. (it was cheaper to buy on amazon or online than in any stores that we checked)

I love coffee, but it isn’t something I have to drink every day. It has become just a treat, but I certainly enjoy that treat with another friend. So, if you are ever in need of a hug, a cup of coffee, and someone to talk to, my door is always open.

Have a happy weekend, darling friends.
