Lemonade/summer themed Party
A few weeks back I had the privilege to plan and decorate a Secret Sister Reveal party for the ladies at my church. I truly love doing things like this, so I was in my element despite being big pregnant!
I opted to go with a super easy theme and stick with bright yellow and pink with a little “lemonade” theme mixed in.
The cupcakes started off like this…. but I needed something else.
So, I sliced up some lemons and attempted to candy them myself. I absolutely loved how easy it was and they were so yummy!
After adding a fun 1/3 of a straw and some pink sugar they were ready to display.
I used my Penny Pinchin’ Sign display for the cupcakes. I just had to turn the banner around and use pink chalk for the “cupcake” part.
I served coffee, water, pink lemonade, and yellow lemonade on our drink table.
Each lady brought their favorite appetizer to pass. The food was delicious!
I just threw a white cloth on each table, put a colorful place setting down, and made a few pretty flower centerpieces in a ball jar on top of a scrap of pink or yellow fabric. It was a fairly simple task, but truly a fun evening with our sweet ladies at church.
