Spaghetti Sauce

We like chunky, thick sauce for spaghetti. My kids love pasta of all kinds so making different sauces is a norm around these parts. I know some hate all the chunks, but hope some can enjoy the recipe. And, remember, sauce the next day is always better!
| Molly’s Spaghetti Sauce 1-2 lbs ground beef or meatballs 1 1/2 cups fresh mushrooms 2-3 chopped large fresh tomatoes 1 chopped onion 1 chopped green/yellow pepper 2 cloves fresh garlic 2 – 28 oz diced tomatoes or 1 diced and 1 sauce 1 8 oz tomato paste 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. thyme 1 bayleaf Salt and pepper to taste Simmer on low all day! |
