Beef Stroganoff, Rice, & Garlic Cheese Biscuits~ Day 9
One of our family favorites is Beef Stroganoff over rice or egg noodles! The recipe is pretty simple and this dish goes a long way filling every belly in its path.

Beef Stroganoff |
| 1/2 c. minced onion 1 clove minced garlic 1/4 c. butter 1 1/2 lbs ground beef 2 T flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 cup sour cream Sautee’ onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Stir in meat; brown. Stir in flour, soup, and spices. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Serve over hot, buttered noodles, rice or mashed potatoes. |

Garlic Cheese Drop Biscuits |

2 c. AP flour 1 T baking powder 2 tsp. Sugar ½ tsp. Cream of tarter (or few drops of vinegar) ¼ tsp. Salt ½ c. butter 1 c. milk Add ¾ c. shredded cheese, garlic powder, and a dash of parsley! Mix all and cut in butter then add milk. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet and bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes. |
