Beachy-themed Bridal shower

I had a blast decorating for a sweet bride at our church a few weeks back. I made several pallet signs including one that the bride had wanted to be hung above the mantle at her wedding in June.

She is getting married near the beach and wanted a beachy feel, thus we had lots of shells, crates, nets, and more.

We walked a beach the week before to pick up driftwood and some pretty shells. I had to get myself in the beach spirit. And, yes, my kids swam at the beach in November. We had a blast.

Here is the gift table before it was filled with gifts.

Drink table with a picture a talented lady in our church matted and framed for the bride.

My pastor’s wife picked up these awesome burlap table cloths at Hobby Lobby. The netting and big vases were items our church had in decoration storage. The drift wood came from Kiawah Island beach here in Charleston.

Several ladies in the church were asked to bring a specific dish that went with our theme. It was amazing and yummy! Shrimp cocktail, chicken nuggets, chicken salad croissants, veggie tray, fruit tray, and cupcakes were on the menu.

The palm tree on a wooden crate was an easy way to bring some beach feel and gave some height and change up in the middle of the food tables.

I was able to use a few of the rope handles pallet trays I made for the Wild Game Dinner a few months back. 

The bride’s colors were light pink, tan, and white. I wrapped the silverware in light pink with a jute string and a lifesaver to bring the color pink into the food table.

What a fun shower and fun time of fellowship. Very thankful for the opportunities to serve. Enjoyed the preparation time with my pastor’s wife and a friend. Looking forward to the next one!
