$3 Rocking Chair Fun
Two years ago I found this “cute” rocking chair at Goodwill for $3. I was pretty excited despite it’s minor ugliness. Well, it has resided in our loft since then with not a bit of change. I kept seeing it thinking how I needed to paint it, make a new seat, etc. I am somewhat glad I hadn’t tackled that project yet since I decided on using it in a little sitting area in our room near the baby corner.
A bit of sanding and 2 coats of gray paint later it has taken on a whole new look.
I added a large pillow for a temporary seat and a few accent pillows and blanket to complete the look.
It will serve as a perfect little sitting area with a new baby!
