Ladies Tea
Last week I had the privilege to help organize and prepare the food for the Ladies Tea at our church.
Our menu was 5 different kinds of quiche, salad, pinwheels, chicken salad on croissants, fruit, mini eclairs, petite fours, mini cheesecakes, and several different kinds of scones.
So many sweet ladies made quiche, scones, salads, and helped purchase ingredients. It was a sweet time of fellowship with many special ladies from our church and our community.
It was a first for me in several things–scones and quiche! My oldest daughter thoroughly enjoyed helping me take several recipes and concoct our own for a good scone base. We made several different kinds, but our over all favorite was white chocolate cranberry with an almond glaze. I will be sharing the recipe here on the blog soon.
When tackling quiche I googled and checked pinterest for recipes. We made 10 quiche–4 different kinds and cannot wait to share the recipes soon. They have become our favorites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

It is always enjoyable to work on things like this. I guess it’s one of my favorite things to do, so I don’t consider it hard work. Looking forward to the next fun activity!

How fun and the food looks so pretty. I love the fruit display. Did you have the fruit that is 'spilling' out of the crate in long bowls/plates or just on top of something? I just love how pretty and colorful it all looks.
