Pop ‘o color change

We have 6 stools in our kitchen due to the island and the high bar behind the sink. A few weeks ago I decided to sand all 6 and start from scratch. They were just needing to be touched up due to constant use. I opted to go different routes this time and I am loving the results.

The two shorter stools looked like this…

They were just getting nasty looking no matter how often I cleaned them. I suppose that is the price we pay having white furniture in a home with 7 people. 😊

I sanded them down just a bit and used this light shade of blue chalk paint from deco art.

I love the blue contrast against the white island. The island is on my agenda to bead-board hopefully soon!
