Baked Pork Chops & Parmesan Noodles~ Day 4
I get pork on sale OFTEN! Pork and Chicken tend to be our meat staple thanks to the sale prices. So, sometimes I have to get creative with how we fix pork chops so it doesn’t get old. We like them in the crock-pot with cream of mushroom and a sliced onion over rice or potatoes. But, our current favorite is baked at a high temp for a very short period of time. I switch it up often too with the breading we dip them in before baking.
Soak your chop in an egg/milk mixture, season and bake! Or you can change it up and then cover with a breading of your choice. I like to add a bit of Worcestershire sauce to the egg mix too for extra flavor. I often use a sleeve of ritz crackers with salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder and a dash of paprika. The last time I made this I used a box of Triscuit crackers that were a garlic parmesan flavor. You can get a boxed mix of breadcrumbs if you desire or a bag of crushed potato chips make yummy breadings too!
You can use any thickness just remember the thicker they are the longer the cooking process. Bake your pork chops at 425 for 10 minutes each side.
