All things New

We are in a new month, a new home, and we are surrounded by new people. And, with all the newness there are challenges, adventures, and an absolute reminder that Jesus has created this “new” just for us. It has been a crazy two weeks of getting settled, changing our documents, getting school caught up, feasting over Thanksgiving fixins, and more. Yet, through it all, I continue to rest amazed at His presence. It’s a complete resting in an overwhelming grace that gets poured upon me on a daily basis. Jesus has been so good in orchestrating His timing and direction for our family, and I cannot help but be excited about what He has in store for us.
As we jump into a crazy month of December, I just couldn’t help but be reminded of where He’s brought us, how He got us to this point, and all that He’s done in the process. “I am thankful” seems to be such a trite statement, but it’s rich and full of truth.
We jump into this month with full schedules of parades, cantatas, holiday parties, chili cook offs, and so much more. We are excited as we invest in lives and begin building relationships with all who He allows in our paths.
