Master Bedroom – Pennies 'n Grace

We are so thankful for the parsonage we are able to call our home! Little by little we will make minor changes as we make this our home. Here is the master bedroom while we were candidating…

It is definitely a smaller space compared to our last bedroom, but I am in love with every bit of it now!

I used the barn door shutters on top of my dresser just for a fun focal point, and I didn’t really have any other place in the house for them. 😏

I found this burlap like “Love you more” throw at the dig ‘n Save Goodwill in Charleston right before we moved. I paid 46 cents for it! 😊 I have seen them popping up on blogs and pictures on Instagram the last few months and couldn’t wait to put mine to use in our new space.

Right when you walk into the room there is a small space, so a trunk was the perfect fit. I love using trunks as part of my decor but also as storage space. Our closets are limited here, so extra storage space is a huge plus! The cotton is from a farm in the area. I decided to not paint this room right now due to other more pressing projects, but I think the color works. I found 2 brand new white sheets at a local yard sale for 50 cents each, so I hung them from little clips as our curtains.
After some furniture change, homemade curtains, Layering, and some tlc, here it is today…
