Lil’ bit o’ touch up!

We have had the front porch painting on the list for forever! Well, for almost 7 years to be exact. But, we were somewhat waiting on what siding we would eventually chose. So, last week I took the plunge and started a big project—painting and redoing some decor.

It is no where near completion and we had some hiccups this last week, so I will have to finish when more time is on the horizon. So, for now there is only one coat of paint on the railings and one coat of black spray paint on the wicker, but initial pictures are fun to see the bit by bit progress.

I had fun making the pillow for the chair too! I am super duper happy with how it is turning out, and am longingly looking forward to its completion! It definitely looks better than the plain ole’ wood!
