Decor on a Dime,  Recipes,  Trash to Treasure

Bargains and Crafting

Recently I found this little box of pine cones that had been made into rosettes. I initially picked it up and put it back down, but then quickly picked it back up and inspected the contents. I had never really seen these sold anywhere, but had seen some pretty cute wreaths made out of them. So, of course, I snatched it up and placed it in the cart when I read the price tag of $1.29!

Maddie was sick the other night so we weren’t able to go to church. So, we had a fun little evening together doing lots of things together. We made a batch of granola that filled our home with the aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger! We enjoyed some cuddling on the couch while reading books, swinging on the hammock while gazing at the stars and singing, and then creating our fun little wreath!

I was a little nervous about not having enough, but was excited when it covered it!
Hooray for a homemade wreath that cost less than $2.00!! And, hooray for sweet little memories with my little girl!

Love the wreath! Have seen those roses made with pinecones before but I think the $1.29 was definitely worth it – don't think I have the time to spend making it 🙂
