I never thought doing a small project in our son’s closet would transform his vision in reading! But, alas, it has! Since we started redoing his closet to become a book nook, he has come home from school and wanting to read in his closet! I love it!! Glad he is excited about it! Unfortunately, his excitement for the finished nook is a constant reminder to mommy and daddy. We constantly hear, “Dad, when are you going to build my desk and fix my cool light?” Alas, one day and one week at a time! I am pretty excited at the progress thus far considering we only began a week ago and the painting is done, crown molding up, and shelves built! We are awaiting daddy’s creativity and building expertise on the desk (which is being made from the wood from the old piano)!

Just thought I’d give you sneak preview of what it is looking like thus far! I think mommy is gonna be having her quiet time in Andrew’s closet when it is complete!!!!
