Satan loves discouraging!!!!

Is it just me who absolutely abhors Satan’s tactics on a daily basis???!! I am so thankful and rejoicing in the hopes we have with Christ ALONE! Seems like a silly post maybe to you, but I am continually amazed at how much Satan tries to remind me of my shortcomings from the day before in order to distract me from living for God 100% today!

Something that has helped me is this….

When the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future!

That little phrase has really helped me when those slimy fingers seem to pry joy, peace, and hope away and fill them by instilling reminders of my constant failures to my Almighty God! What a joy to know that we can look to God each morning for promises, forgiveness, and strength to combat a powerful flesh! So, as you go throughout your day and fall flat on your face many a times, remember that when we confess those failures to God, He gives forgiveness and holds our hand and leads us on! Yup, even when we fall and scrape our face again doing the same ole’ sin! Don’t let Satan keep you on the ground stomping into you reminders of all the bad you have done that day or the day before or the year before! Look to God for that victory and seek to be all you can be for Him today!!!
