Thankful for a new week!

Seems like a silly thing to you, but getting through last week without going into labor was a HUGE  answer to prayer for us! I cannot thank the Lord enough for the strength He gave me and the help in EVERY aspect! When I cater events like weddings or other banquets I have some pretty huge goals for myself that I know I could NOT accomplish without God’s hand and grace to help me! It is always a huge goal that my children, hubby, and my home  not receive neglect  due to my being busy with other people and other events.  So, I had to be a bit more organized than usual and have meals planned (in the freezer), laundry strategically scheduled in the wee morning hours and, of course, some little fun adventures and treats with my little ones! We did order pizza one night (mostly because I was craving it) and my kiddos enjoyed a McDonalds lunch one of the days we were at church all day! But, for the most part, no one starved, our home was functional, and we had a good time together! Unfortunately, Daddy got sick with the flu halfway through the week, so that added a little extra, but He was a trooper for sure! So, what are we doing this week??? Sleep????? Nothing????? Hmm, we have a full schedule of fun activities with our little ones, Maddie’s birthday party tomorrow, and possibly a 3 day trip away this weekend (just my sweet hubby and I)! I am completely looking forward to not cooking 80 hours this week, but just preparing meals for the 5 1/2 of us alone!
I sure love to cater though and thought I’d throw in a few pictures of our food table this weekend. I didn’t have time or sanity to take my own pictures so someone else did it for me. Hoping that some of our great photographers took shots too that I can get a hold of of the entire table done, but for now, here are a few!

And, we had to take a picture of our sweet angels ready for church yesterday! They are growing up too fast!!! misc 530

Saturday was such a blessing! Thank you soooo much for all your hard work and sacrafice!
Those little ones are such a blessing to me! When I see them come in to church with their big smiles, it brings joy and blessing! Praise the Lord for your diligence in training them to serve the Lord! It really "paid off"!

love the picture of the kids! the girls are so cute in their matching dresses 🙂

wow – you were busy! I really like the baskets with the crackers spilling out of them – are they yours? and the middle centerpiece thing on that table is pretty cool too.

thank you! I actually borrowed the baskets and the centerpiece from another caterer in South Carolina. She is the mom of one of my friends here at church! It was super fun, but I am super glad it is over! (o:
