“Mommy, I LOVE it! It’s what I wanted for forever!”
Nothing makes a momma smile more than to be complimented by her little ones! The title of today’s post is exactly what my little Chloe Belle exclaimed when I completed our little changes in their room Tuesday! I didn’t want the crib to be upsetting to their play place, but I too didn’t want the room to be so chuck full that you couldn’t function! It was a chore and a half to rearrange it to satisfy the look and feel I was desiring!
I had contemplated painting the crib, but that is so not happening. Plus, I actually like the look of it the way it is! The girls are more than happy with it, and I think it created a much bigger excitement to have baby sister join them in their room soon!
I have found pillows, and other pieces of bedding at yard sales and goodwill over the last year or so to make her bed look a bit more inviting and not break our pocketbook. I purchased the bumper and blanket at goodwill right before Maddie was born. It is a $100 set from Target and I think it was $5.99 or something like that—still packaged)! Notice our homemade mobile? Yup, I love the added color and the fun twist to a crib mobile that my kiddos can say they helped create!
Chloe helped me spray paint the light shades with lime green and pink.
Nothing really new, but things are moved around, in it’s place, and maybe spray painted a different color, but all in all, our little princesses LOVE it!

very cute! I can't tell what you moved around? the new armoire cabinet thing you got for the girls clothes – I think?
Love the crib – I wouldn't paint it – not if the finish is good. 🙂
very pretty! Just hope you don't have to use it for a little while longer yet!
