Mountain Yard sales!!!!

Yes, you bet we did! We went yard saling while we were away in the mountains this weekend! It was super fun and super cheap. I think I spent a total of $3 and found some cool stuff! Honestly, I have a pretty detailed list of things I am looking for and didn’t steer off the list at all. I found 2 old and really cool windows with which I have already found homes for and begun projects with. You will have to come back the next couple of days to see what the girls and I did with them.

I actually busted out the window panes in both of them just because I wanted to! One had 1 pane already broken (great bartering tool), so that one for sure had to be gone. But, I liked the look so much, I thought I would just do it to all. It made painting the one much easier too! I loved the fact that after I sanded the one a little bit it shows similar colors that I have in my bedroom. Super excited!

I found a few other things, but nothing as exciting as my $1 windows! Stop by tomorrow and see the quirky wreath the girls and I created! It isn’t the most gorgeous piece of art I’ve come up with, but it has a special place in my heart and my room!
