Highchair Fun

I found this highchair at a church yard sale last summer for $5! I was pretty excited at the possibility and the ability to put it to use with our little one on the way. I posted this picture on Instagram after I did the initial sanding, painting and staining. But, then the inevitable happened….I had a new baby and some things were put on the back burner.

Since our little miss is now using this highchair, I decided it was time to finish painting, distressing, staining, and sealing with some clear coat.

It gets used happily multiple times a day with a bouncy little girl who loves to eat! And, now I can smile knowing that a $5 boring highchair turned into something that fits my style by a little tender love and care.
