Ministry?
My kids have thoroughly enjoyed having a neighbor boy around their age to play with! It has been fun to see them interact and enjoy some extra company. Just the other day I walked up to the boys who were digging in the dirt and overheard Andrew giving him the Gospel! I was absolutely shocked, excited, overwhelmed, and indeed challenged! Here was our 6 year old greatly concerned about his friend’s eternal state. A few days later he came running into the house saying that his little friend prayed and trusted Jesus to be his Savior. The light and excitement in Andrew’s eyes brought tears to my own. What a conviction his love for souls is to me daily! While I do not know the heart of his little friend, I intend to find an opportunity to expound on my little one’s witnessing and the need for salvation for us all! I am praying too that this will continue to soften Chloe’s heart so she too can know Heaven will be her home!
So, as you may at times be inconvenienced with neighbors, others children, a rude grocery shopper, and anyone else God has sent your way—-don’t look at them as an inconvenience, but as a ministry and a wide open door to present the Good News that we have so readily available!
